Delete your 1Bookmark account

How to delete your 1Bookmark account, and what happens to your data when you do. 1Bookmark is operated by A Cup of Commit.
1. Delete it in the app or on the web
- Android · iOS app: Settings tab → your signed-in account → Delete account
- Web: sign in at app.1bookmark.net/profile → Delete account
Before you confirm, we show you what will be deleted and what will stay. Your account is deleted as soon as you type the confirmation phrase.
If you are the only owner of a team space that has other members, first hand ownership to another member or delete the space.
2. If you can't sign in
Email help@commit2.app from the address you signed up with, with the subject "Account deletion request". We'll delete your account without delay once we confirm it's you.
3. Deleted right away
- Your personal space and its bookmarks and tags
- Team spaces only you were using, and their bookmarks and tags
- Favorites and support requests
- Activity history outside team spaces (such as when you opened the app)
- Your email address and profile image. We don't keep your original email address anywhere.
You're signed out on every device right away. If you sign up again with the same email, you start with a new account.
4. What stays

If you don't want your team bookmarks to stay, delete them before you leave: in search, filter by author to find the bookmarks you added. If you'd rather not leave your name, change it in your profile first. They'll show "(Deactivated) your new name".
